This November marks our 30th anniversary year, and what better way to honour such a milestone, than by donning our lycras, heading over to the USA and hopping in the saddle to fundraise for GBC's chosen Charity, Velindre; A hugely remarkable organisation making a pivotal difference to so many patients and families here in Wales, who are enduring the unimaginable.

This charity genuinely holds such a special place in the heart of GBC, along within ours; personally.

Velindre is our chosen charity of the year and we thank you all for inspiring us to take on this challenge.

We would like to pledge our commitment to fundraising the above target (£6,000 each, so a collective £18,000 is our target!) over the coming months, so please support us in this challenge of a lifetime!

We would be so grateful for any donations, and can honestly say that these will make such a difference.

Stay tuned for updates of our training (pass that talc!!) over the coming months, and for our preparations and fundraising events to power us on to that sunshine state.

Velindre’s Key West Bike Ride offers sensational skylines, bucket list destinations and fierce mileage consisting of 625km over four days.

Riding up the coastal highway through quaint towns, participants will journey from surf capital Cocoa Beach through Jupiter and Miami to finish in the famous Key West, Florida – the southernmost point in the continental USA.

Home to famous writers such as Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams, Key West will be the final destination for our finish line celebrations as we soak up the coastal air.

Every penny and each turn of the pedal will help raise vital funds for Velindre Cancer Centre and in turn, help provide Hope for more cancer patients and families in Wales.
